Diwali falls on November 4th this year and if you want to get in the mood for the festival of lights, then put your feet up and enjoy some of these ‘light’ movies. They may offer some ‘light’ entertainment!
Light Of Day
Starring Micheal J Fox, this 1987 musical drama was shot in Chicago and Bruce Springsteen wrote and composed the song ‘Light of Day’ especially for the film. This was the first attempt at a serious role for Fox, as he had previously been known for lightweight roles in Back to the Future.

I Saw The Light
Starring Tom Hiddleston and Elizabeth Olsen, this movie follows the life of country music singer Hank Williams. Williams is celebrated for his great body of American music and this film traces his rise to fame and fortune and the impact on his private life.
This Nicholas Cage film is a 2014 psychological thriller. Cage, as a veteran CIA agent must hunt down a terrorist threat before he loses his memory from dementia. Last Light
Starring Kiefer Sutherland and Forest Whittaker, this 1993 film follows the story of a prisoner on death row who sparks up an unusual friendship with a prison guard who used to be a cop. They both help each other come to terms with trauma in their lives.

Half Light
This was a mystery horror starring Demi Moore in 2006. If you like ghostly goings on, then this could be the perfect film for Halloween.
