Why use activated charcoal?

Activated charcoal is considered a safer bleach than soda, since soda, especially when combined with hydrogen peroxide, can cause thinning of the enamel or irritation of the gums.

When bleaching with activated charcoal, the probability of enamel damage is minimized. Moreover, even if accidentally swallowed, activated charcoal will not do any harm to the body – unless, of course, you have an individual intolerance, but in this case it is better to abandon this method of whitening altogether.

Of course, in everything you need to know the extent – do not brush your teeth with activated charcoal more than three times a week, in that case we recommended you to check out the charcoal teeth whitening powder reviews.

In the case when you do not want to spend a lot of money, but there is a desire to whiten your teeth, an excellent option is to use specialized whitening pastes and other means. They will lighten the enamel for a few tones and make your teeth healthier. They always have a clear instruction for use, which guarantees the effectiveness and safety of procedures.

Activated charcoal Recipes

Before bleaching from activated charcoal, you need to prepare a special formulation, dissolving two tablets in a small amount of water. The consistency of the mixture should be viscous, similar to toothpaste. In order not to add too much water, the tablets can first be grinded, and then drop by drop into the liquid, bringing the mixture to the desired state.

Ready mixture should be applied to the toothbrush and gently brush her teeth for two minutes. Then the mouth should be rinsed and the procedure repeated. At the end of the cleaning, you must make sure that all the coal from the teeth is removed. Also it is worth considering that for bleaching coal will need another toothbrush, since this is not suitable for normal hygiene procedures.

You can whiten teeth with charcoal and in another way, for example, pouring powder onto a brush or chewing on a tablet and brushing your teeth with usual toothpaste.

The effect of teeth whitening with activated charcoal can be seen after a couple of procedures.

Recommendations for bleaching

  • It is very important that the activated charcoal paste is homogeneous, without large pieces of coal, which can easily scratch the gums or teeth;
  • You can clean teeth with activated charcoal not more than three times a week, but it is better to do it once.
