Eating junk food is becoming more frequent due to the pace of life we ​​lead. Although there is no danger if consumed occasionally, there is no doubt about how harmful it is for the body.

There are many who are unaware of the direct consequences of regular consumption of fast food. These foods do not provide nutritional value, but they provide calories in addition to added preservatives and sweeteners.

As we have said, fast food lacks essential nutrients such as essential proteins or vitamins that the body needs to stay healthy and function properly. 4. Increase the risk of cardiovascular diseases

Triglycerides and cholesterol play an essential role in the development of coronary diseases.

Fast food is high in saturated fat and trans fat, which in turn increases the levels of triglycerides and bad cholesterol or LDL in the blood. The fast-food diet provides the body with a constant flow of glucose. Therefore, it increases insulin levels and, as a consequence, affects the body’s ability to use insulin correctly and can lead to type 2 diabetes.
